Marina Veli Rat in Dugi Otok, Croatia, is among sailors' favorites. The secluded Pantera bay is well protected from the winds, and even though the marina facilities are basic, here you'll find everything you need even for a longer stay.
The marina itself has 220 wet berths and two buoy fields nearby. The coffee shop, market, parking, and laundry room are just next to the reception desk. The marina is openening hours are Mon-Fri 7:00-21:00 H, Sat-Sun 07:00-12:00 h & 18:00-20:00 H. Dugi Otok, as a sailing destination, has many things to offer. It's the longest island in Croatia and the biggest one in the North Dalmacija region. Visit the Saharun beach or the Veli Rat Lighthouse. Fancy a dive? There's a shipwreck nearby to explore, no need for diving equipment, the shipwreck is pretty shallow so you can use snorkeling equipment. There are some pretty cool things for the kids as well - Dinosaur footprints! On the south side of the island make sure you visit Nature Park Telascica or spend some time enjoying little villages on the island like Božava, Sali, or Luka.
