Marina d'Empuriabrava is located in the town of Castelló d'Empúries, Spain. It is the largest marina on the Spanish coast. It has 23 km of canals and it is considered to be Catalan Venice. The marina is known as an extremely safe port against all weather conditions and it is just 9 km from France.
Parachute jumps, skydiving, therapeutic jumps, and different kinds of water sports are just some of the activities for adrenaline lovers. Convento de Sant Domenech, el Portal de la Gallarda, el Pont Vell, and the “Lonja” o la Basílica de Santa María are the most popular cultural and historic attractions in the area. Port Salins Hotel, Vent de Garbi Aparthotel, and Castell Blanc Hotel are just some of the excellent accommodation options. Marina d'Empuriabrava has a capacity of 700 berths. It offers numerous services such as a 12-ton crane, showers, a waiting dock, a ramp, mini-market, fitness center, waste disposal, fuel station, a 50-ton travel lift, etc.
The marina is easily recognisable coming from France, thanks to the fact that once you have passed Cap Norfeu, the northern limit of the Golf de Roses, turned the Falconera point in the direction of the town of Roses and setting a bearing of 280º, you can see the control tower of the Marina d'Empuriabrava, 47 metres high and 7 metres in diameter, always illuminated, it is the symbol of Empuriabrava. The same tower can be seen from any angle coming from the Mediterranean and entering the Gulf of Roses.
