Marina Milna is Brač Island's largest harbour and is situated in a cove, well shielded from Bora and Jugo. It is open all year round and can be packed early in July and August, so it is best to book a berth ahead of time. It is at the southeast section of the best preserved and very beautiful bay, Milna.
Milna offers protection and peace from all winds due to which it is safe harbours for chartering during the summer season. The bay Milna lies on the west shore of the island of Brač, which can mainly be identified by two sounds: the thumping of hammers in the only stonemason school in this part of Europe and the chirping of crickets. The stonemason school is in Pučišći on Brač, where they work on the well-known Brač stone. This stone is white as snow and also the key material from which the Palace of Diocletian in Split and in part, the White House in Washington were constructed. Brač is also the sound of gravel from the beach named Zlatni rat, near popular surfer destination, Bol. Depending on the waves, it changes shape and position which makes it especially unique.
In the immediate vicinity, there are 2 marinas. Please pay attention when entering the ACI marina Milna, which is the last in a row and closest to the city center. If you berth at a different marina by mistake, refunds will not be possible!
